In 1991, Imran khan started a task of construction a cancer hospital now known as Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre afterward trailing his mother to the illness. In 1985, his mother, Shaukat Khanum, was acknowledged with cancer. This is because, Pakistan did not have enough good treatment facilities and hence, she had to seek treatment outside this country.
